Boxed pint can from Total Wine Appleton, 3/3/25. Black, large brown head, average retention. Aroma of roast, chocolate, cola,, orange. Taste is roast, chocolate, vanilla, anise, chocolate. A bit of a soapy note throughout. Mild booze. Decent.

I cannot believe that a brew master tasted this and said yes this is good. I had one sip and that's all I can handle. Total drain pour. Way too sweet. The flavors don't match or balance. Disaster. What a stupid purchase.

On tap at Surly, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma has plenty of cola flavouring, along with orange peel, vanilla extract and plenty of sugars. Flavour is sweet and syrupy, with cola syrup, orange peel, and sugars. I guess this is executed alright, but I dont like the concept. Its alright.
