Gravity cask at the 2017 Nottingham Beer Festival. Dark gold and clear. A small ring of loose white head around the top. Scent contains mango and passionfruit with moments of ripe citrus. Slightly musty and with a nice biscuity note. Tastes juicy and bittersweet, and there is a cracking bitterness right near the long finish. Tangerine and vine grown tomato in the aftertaste. A cracking little pale ale.

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Ambrata limpida, schiuma media bianca abbastanza persistente. Al naso sentori agrumati, resina, malto, nota floreale leggera. In bocca è equilibrata con base di malto leggera e finale amaro. Corpo medio-leggero, superiore alle attese, carbonazione media. Discreta.

Bottle from Bradleys, Cork [150416]
Copper amber, clear, frothy white head
Aroma of sweet tropical fruits, sweet mango, dab of caramel malts, soft grapefruit, very good nose for abv
Taste of grapefruit zest, bitter caramelised orange, mango, some caramel malt, lot of flavour for abv
Palate - Medium carb, light body, quite bitter. FInish has a bit more caramel malt and lingering bitter zest
Overall - Very good for the ABV, lots of zesty hops, would prefer more pale malt and less caramel though
