Bottle. Frothy White fair mostly deminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Bourbon very present. Heavy bitter flavor. Choccolate and Bourbon very present. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is caramelish and vanilla, wooden. Thick malty, bourbon, alcohol presence. Roasted. Dark chocolate and breadish. Roasted and lingering dark malty. Alcohol warmth into the finish.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Opaque black with small brown head. Peppery licorice and bourbon aroma. Sweet and viscous with full body and oily mouthfeel. Heavy bread, syrup, licorice and caramel, pepper, vanilla and bourbon. Warming finish with growing bitterness and saccharine.

Bottle shared @ Haket. Pours oily pitch black with a very small dark mocha head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with roasted malts, sweet pumpernickel bread, dark chocolate, raisins, vanilla fuidge, caramel, sweet Indonesian soy sauce, liquorice fudge, charred wood and hints of caramelized apples, black pepper corns and bourbon. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, soot, pumpernickel bread, sweet spy sauce, moist soil, heavy charred wood, raisins, prunes, dates and hints of bourbon. Mouthfeel is oily, sticky sweet, round, tiny flat and near full bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, pumpernickel, charred wood, vanilla fudge, raisins, prunes, liquorice fudge, coconut shells and hints of bourbon. Bit over the top but manages to still be quite tasty and quite intriguing.

From bottle at GBG Ö&W 2014. Black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of bourbon, roasted malt, wood, licorice and some fruit. Full body and with a long finish. Also notes of alcohol. A tasty one.
