Unpasteurized, unfiltered and with the traditional way of fermentation inside the bottle, Marea Ale is a Pale Ale beer. It is characterized by its distinctive full taste and the scent of citrus and dry fruit. Brewed with a range of 5 different cereal malts and hops it combines the sweetness of the malt extract with the bitterness of the hops leaving an intense bittersweet aftertaste.

Bottle from a supermarket in Thessaloniki, Greece. Pours a cloudy light brown colour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma of malt, oats, caramel, and hint of prune. Medium bitterness, with a mellow sweetness accompanying a touch of sour. Medium body, texture is quite thick. Average carbonation, finish leaves a sherbet mouthfeel.

Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours hazy amber with small white head. Clear aroma of hops, with faint notes of citrus and fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of malt, fruit and yeast. High carbonation. Citric and estery aftertaste. Nothing special but not bad for the style.
