Bagged lambic, that isn't primitive! Damn nice funk from a bag, sour and tart but balanced by caramel apple funk.

Bag-in-Box. Pale ruby colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is tart wood, some funk, mild sugary tones with some fruits as well. Flavour is earthy, funky, some tart wooden tones with mild acididty too. Some sweet elements to it too. Highly drinkable.

Bag in box, at EAP in S�o Paulo. Dark amber. A few bubbles but of course basically flat. Leathery lambic note, light caramel on the nose. Tart, bracing acetic. Just a touch of sugar left in this. Takes on some barrel and a fair amount of brett. Vinegary elements, too. Quite different …I’m not actually sure what to make of this.

Draft at Navare Res. Brown pour, bubbly head. Wine-like aroma, Belgian funk, pit fruit. Taste is tart, fruity, funky, raisins. Pucker lingers for a while. Nice body.

Tap (2 years vintage) @Luppolo Ststion in Rome-Italy. Dark Amber leading to chestnut skin color, medium off-white foam pretty persistent. Nose: vinous feel, sour a bit balsamic, subtle caramel. Mouth: vinous, sour with firm feel of caramel and sugar. Leading to acetic a bit.

Draught @ O'Connell's, Tampere as Oud Beersel Oud Vieux Faro Aroma has earthy notes and grapefruit. Flavour has earthy notes, grapefruit, mild milky notes. No signs of faro, feels like (oude) lambic. I mean, a good one.

Tap at Beer Hunters. Reddish colour and small beige head. Lambic funky tartness, some sweet fruityness. Light-bodied. Funky tart earthy, smooth redwineous flavour. Not overly sweet as many Faros.

Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, barnyard, funk and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and medium sour with a long barnyard, funk, tart and sweet finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
