A sessionable take on a hopfenweisse, an inventive fusion between an IPA and a German wheat beer. A fave of beer writers and Saturday Kitchen.

Personally, it was not my favourite one, too carbonated, soily and mineral, rough. The aroma is interesting at the nose with the hop, 07.11.19, trying at Epalinges.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish brown colour with a small, but longlasting white head. Aroma is yeasty, spicy, some citrus and floral tones. Flavour is some berries, citrus, mild yeasty tones with some herbal and mild earthy elements. Kind of homebrewish, but then again, the hoppy Weiss is not really my thing...

Can on 27th October 2021 from Gorillas. Pours hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Lemony citrus aroma with yeastiness. Tropical fruits and juicy lemon in-mouth with hints of spice. A tangy and spicy finish. Full bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine persistente, colore giallo smorto torbido, al naso ananas frutta tropicale grumi, in bocca malto di frumento frutta tropicale banana, corpo leggero, watery, lieve astringente, carbonatazione moderata, secca asciutta con amaro moderato. Manca un po' di corpo ma non è male. c. COOP Tenero 12.10.19

Can @ 02 Academy watching Sebadoh. Not the biggest fan of this brewery given how it was established and funded from the drugs money of Julian de Vere Whiteway-Wilkinson. Bought as I didn't want watery Carlsberg, but i probably should've remained sober. Sour lemon courses throughout. Some wheat, citrus hop. Quite unpleasant.
