Bottle shared at Craft CG - thanks to James! It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy toasted malts, warming spice, medicinal character, rocky road and charred wood. The taste is dry, bitter, warming spice, chilli kick, touch of green veg, earthy roast, charred wood and leather with a warming, spiced finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Yes it’s pretty hot, as the name suggests, but still drinkable. Fun stuff.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - initially, it's a gusher. After calming down, it's dark brown to black. Fawn head. Nose - dark chocolate. Light smoke from the chilli. Taste - big chilli burn. Smoke again. Chocolate at the back. Palate - medium bodied and creamy. Chilli burn throughout. Overall - too spicy for my palate, but well made.

Bottle split at CBC Gilesborn, thanks to Scopey, 25/04/18. Light black with a decent tan head. Nose is smoked malts, spice, dark fruits, green pepper. Taste comprises green chilli bite, charr, mellow roast, hint of chill laden dark chocolate. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for this macabre style but lacks drinkability.

Bottle shared in London / no thanks to Scopey. Pours deep brown with a smal, creamybtan head: lots of toasted brown bread in the nose, chipotle. Light sweet flavour, tons of dried red pepper, more chipotle, vague cocoa. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Dry and hot on the finish, with a little smoke, more chipotle, sharp green pepper heat. Fairly intense but not entirely unreasonable.

Growler at home .. dark black .. small head ... massive smoke.. big roast malt nose ... dark roast .. big smoke .. big chilli.. massive burn soft smoke... Funny stella says chilli is worse than the smoke, but the smoke is worse than the chilli for me. Dark sweet chocolate malt back bone... In the end quite interesting
