I belgisk ølbrygning bruges der typisk forskellige brygsirupper, både lyse og mørke. I denne øl er der brugt melasse-sirup, som tilfører en skøn karameliseret fylde og sød smag.

Flasken er lukket med traditionel kork prop, som sikrer et højere kulsyreindhold i øllet.

Øllet kan købes i mange af de landsdækkende detailkæder i perioden slut oktober til slut december.

Bottle 750ml @ My Aunt's place Pours clear deep golden/amber with an off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grain and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long malt, caramel, grass and grainy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft

Bottle. A clear dark amber coloured beer with a small off-white head. Caramel, dried fruits and a light oxidized touch in the aroma. Hints of spices in the back. It's full bodied, lightly warming and with a soft carbonation. Caramel, dried fruits and a bitterness matching the sweetness. Lasting sweet finish with a hint of cinnamon and cloves. Guess it did good from a couple of years in the cellar. 180217

New Year Bottle Share in Odense. Amber with a lasting white head. Aroma of malt, banana and yeast. Very sweet with fruit, yeast, and plenty of sugar. Quite metallic.

Clear amber, thick white head. Mild yeast and caramel aroma. Flavour is sweet, some lind of caramel solution. A little spice perhaps but watery. Blah.

Draught@fonefan. Amber colour, mediumsized fluffy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, sweet malts and some wooden notes. Flavour is sweet malts, sugar, toffee and a bit earthy notes. Too sweet for me.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Fruity nose, some brown sugar. Rich, sweet body, yeasty with subtle phenols. But the sweetness is cloying bordering undrinkable. 170415
