Bottle split at LKS ’Beers of London’ Tasting, high up, thanks to KM 10/12/14. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent beige covering - quite a looker! Nose is caramel malt, bitter orange, citric notes, straw, apricot jam. Taste comprises pale malt, orange pith, more apricot jam, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok - nothing I’d go for again though!

Tasting at Leighton’s Flat. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Light malts, sweetish with a touch of cream. Bitterish orangey hops, some peel. Little crystallised fruits. Finishes smooth and airy with a good floral orange bitter linger. Decent stuff.

Bottle at Leighton’s. It pours clear deep amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is sweet, toasty, wood, brioche, panettone and sponge cake. The taste is bitter, doughy, orange peel, stewed citrus, panettone, crystallized fruit, mild acidity, wood, spice and some warming alcohol on the finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. All comes together rather well. Pretty nice.

Bottle shared at Leightons pre Christmas tasting. Clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting fluffy off white head. Aroma is little spicy orange peel, tangy, nutty malts. Flavour is composed of dried fruit, candied orange peel, little grains astingentcy and lingering orange peel. Palate is fairly airy, medium light, high carbonation. Big bitterness lingers.

Bottle shared in London. Thanks to Kenny. Pours perfectly clear gold with a large, lasting off-white head. The nose has some pale bread, slight citrus fruits, hay. Medium sweet flavor with more pale bread, citrus meringue, some bitter pine needles, hay, light grains. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, still more pale bread, slight woody dryness, biscuits, subtle orange rind, slight melon. Not bad at all.
