Cortez Gold - Belgian- style Blonde ale - Like its namesake, Cortez Gold has been searched out for centuries. Our Belgian Style Blonde Ale is refreshingly crisp, accentuated with a touch of Noble Hops. Premium Pilsner malts and Belgian yeast produce an effervescent and deliciously drinkable beer. Cortez Gold has one black boot stuck in tradition and the other firmly planted in the New World.

Huge can. Lightly hazy pale gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and crispy. Dry pale malts, whisper of spice. Mild citrus. Finishes light and semi dry and with a little more spice. Standard Belgian Golden fayre.

Dont be put off by the oil can, this pretty good. Pale golden with light and airy head, mild yeasty aroma. Taste ntongs the yeast, coriander and some light malt. Floral, slickness lingers.

Quart can from Bine & Vine. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast and light fruity esters. Med body, or nearly. Flavor is lightly malty, a bit yeasty, something suggesting coriander, and fruity esters in a light way. Beginning to seem about as earthy as fruity. Tastes good in any event.
