Keg at PP OB, 13/11/14. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is bourbon forward, dark toffee fumes, sweet tones, dark fruits, woody BA notes. Taste comprises dark malts, JD & Coke, sweet licks, coconut shavings, cocoa rub. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but a little sweet and 1D.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours brownish-black with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a wispy film. Strings of lacing on the glass. aroma of chocolate, oak and malt. Medium to full-bodied with a subtle bourbon character and flavors of vanilla, coconut and malt. The finish is roasty with a chocolate and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
