The perfect balance of malt and hop flavours, this delicious all-rounder is the result of continuous experimentation and development. The right amount of malty sweetness meets juicy hop character, making a beer that hits the spot every time.

Cask at Crate during RBESG 2014. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is toasty, grain, caramel, mild spice, orange, pineapple and peach. The taste is bitter, orange peel, light tangerine, light soap, caramel and light pine with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Well rounded and easy going. Not bad.

One of the best pale ales from England at Cask Days 2013. Pours cloudy orane with decent head and lacing. Grapefruit colour and grapefruit taste. Medium bitter finish. Thick on palate, nice mouthful here. Very good.

Draft at Crate Brewery in Hackney, London on 13 July 2013. Poured a hazy orange with a thin white head. Aroma of grainy malt mixed with grass/ piney hop resin. Initial assertive hop bitterness if balanced by juicy, fruity malt flavours.

Ket at Crate - Hackney Wick, London. Pours clear copper, finely effervescent, with a light, foamy white head. Some lightly bready malts in e nose, a bit of orange, faint pine. Light to medium sweet flavor with further bready malts, lightly juicy orange, some sponge cake, mellow toasted grass. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with light toasty pine bitterness, suggestions of caramel, some mildly juicy orange, somewhat bready malts. Not a terribly complex pale ale but quite drinkable.
