Keg at the brewery - London. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. Good yeast expression in the aroma, some pissy hops, too, pine needles, light grass. Light to medium sweet flavor with some restrained Belgian yeast character, further pee, pithy citrus, faint alcohol, pale bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Slightly warming to finish with a touches of oily hops, dank grass, urine, yeast, pale bread. Really solid. Very drinkable.

Keg at the brewery. Fantastic aroma of big fresh tropical fruits with mango pineapple and bitter orange. Clear golden orange with a lasting white froth. Flavour is big bitter lemon, grapefruit with some orange. Dominated by bitterness which ruins the balance. Palate is medium and medium carb. Finish isn’t quite dry enough.

Keg at the brewery, 29/03/14. Clear golden with a well appointed off white covering that retains well. Nose is tarte apricot, orange pith, straw, light spice, bitter citric ring, toasty. Taste comprises bitter mandarin, hoppy pangs - lightly skunked NS shines through, orange pith, straw, hay, bitter apricot. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid hoppy saison, best beer I’ve had from Fourpure to date.

On tap at the brewery. Clear gold lasting white head. Typical Nelson Sauvin sweaty sox aroma. Some saison yeast character. More like a saison in the flavour. Dry hoppy bitter on the finish. But that sweaty sox thing is too much for me.
