Growler fill, courtesy of Andrey, shared at Brownhill and Co on Zwanze day. No idea how this was procured, and I did mean to ask, but forgot. Presumably from Cotteridge earlier this year. Dusky, deep pink. Fine, loose, white head. Nose has mouldy plum and gage. Light, leathery funk. Some wet paper. Lightly estery. Taste is dry, and a little tart. Touch of fruit sweetness. Mouthfeel belies the age of this, feeling a little flabby and dull. Very fine carbonation. Some fruit on the finish. Must have been getting on a bit, but surprisingly decent, overall. Great to try.

Keg at Cotteridge Wines birthday; slightly murky peach pour with a thin off white head, aroma has sweet plums, taste has sour plums, some funk, citrus, possibly the best beer to be brewed in the UK thatโs not an IPA
