On cask at West Riding Refreshment Rooms, Dewsbury - Clear pale gold body, bubbly top. Malty, bit of grass and hay, biscuity. Low on the sparkle, this would probably be better on keg. Still okay though. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kazbek on 10 Jun 2018 at 13:46 - Score: 6. Original review text:

On tap at Christian Firtal Pale Ale Festival. Hazy orange golden with a lasting white head. Fruity aroma with peach, red apples and orange peel, and a nice touch of bready malt. Sweetish fruity flavour with a herbal touch and a nice bitter finish.

(Cask at Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2019) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had earth, grass and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A pleasant and tasty hoppy brew. Delicious aftertaste that lasted long.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of lemons, flowers, and English hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, straw, and lemons, leading to a bitter finish.

Keg at Waterloo Tap. Got the barman to poor another sample. This appears to be different from previous reviews. Low key aroma. Some citrus. Opaque gold. Creamy white head. Light bitter through to a medium bitter. Citrus bite. Malty tones. Thicker end of medium bodied. Slick. Soft carb. Abrupt finish. Slght astringent edge. Has character.
