Golden amber, pears and oranges, juicy and bright, mod bitterness, didn’t get a distinct impression from the hop. Good stuff, though.

Cask at CBC, London on 13th August 2013. Gold with thin white foam ring-and-film top, and scant lacing. Cheesy yeasts and malts provide a sweetish fruity aroma. Fruity and hoppy in-mouth with citric tang and a grassy bitterness striking the uppewr palate. Grassy hop and fruitiness abound in a tangy finish. Light yet bodiful mouthfeel. Nice.

Cask at the North Pole - London. Pours clear yellow with a fine, creamy white head, which leaves an impressive lacing. Crispy straw and biscuity pale malts in the nose. Light sweet flavor, some dry straw and hay, hints of crunchy cereal grains, some pithy lemon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Clean finish, further dry biscuity pale malts, moderate straw bitterness, some subtle lemon rind. Solid golden ale.
