2024 version (first batch?) 37.5 cl bottle, labeled as 75 cl :p
Pours deep and dark redpink, which you can't see trough at all. No real head, though the bottle was a light gusher. Scent is intense full and powerfull cherry, reminding of Schaarbeekse more than the average (regular) krieks. Taste is powerfully cherry as well. Loads of pits (marzepan) again, schaarbeekse comes to mind - but as far as I know this isn't . Mild bitterness, very balanced acidity. OP on the cherries, and they're very good, but makes the beer lack a bit of balance / depth. Medium carbonation, slightly drying finish. Lovely !

Poured from 375mL bottle (bottled 2024; bb 2044). Dar purple-ish red with pink head. Big cherry aroma, rich cherry skins, feint funk, enjoyable.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark purple with a beautiful, medium pink head. Aroma is full of intense cherries, barnyard funk, and a touch of leather. Flavour is dry and yet expressive, with intense, lightly acidic cherries, moderate funk, and bugginess. Real nice cherry expression, solid funk expression, and well-constructed. Not a world-class kriek lambic, but it's well-done for sure.

0.375 l bottle from 'Huis van de Geuze', bottled in 2024. Hazy, ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, pinkish white head. Sweetish, sourish, rather fruity and gently funky aroma of cherry, bitter almond, oak, blackcurrant, elderberry and light horse blanket. Slightly sweet, quite sour, rather fruity and a little funky taste of sour cherry, elderberry, blackcurrant, rhubarb, lemon, oak and some bitter almond, followed by a medium long, fairly tart, gently woody-dry and a bit minerally finish. Thin to medium body, rather astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid Kriek, easy to drink, not overly complex though.
