Bubbly, orange-amber with a minimal off-white head. Strong, sweet fermented fruit aroma....tangerine, pear... Taste is caramel, spice with a strong boozy bitter..... Gets a better balance as it warms, but still finishes a little rough.

New Beer Distributors, NY 12oz ($2): Pours a hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sugar, some citrus hops, but not quite all the way to the point of an IPA. Taste is slightly bitter, with some notes that are not quite toffee, but similar. Some ambiguous fruitiness makes it in there as well. Alcohol well covered. Easy drinking considering the high alcohol. This lacks complexity, but is still better than I thought it would be.
