On tap at 7venth Sun, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is very rich, with tons of bourbon barrel character, vanilla, brown sugar, and dark dried fruits — mmm. Flavour is rich and balanced, with a wonderful bourbon barrel expression that imparts notes of vanilla and treacle, layered over a nice malt bill of dark dried fruits and modest sugars. There's even some hoppy resins underneath to balance. Really well-constructed. Despite the gravity, this isn't brutal at all. Excellent.
