Medium white head. Clear deep yellow body with light carbonation. Fruity freshly cut wood aroma with banana notes. Dry-sweet resiny tropical fruit and freshly cut wood taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, dusty mouthfeel. Dry tropical fruit and oranges aftertaste with resiny watery notes. Nice, drinkable, somewhat odd combination of flavours. Gets murky at bottom, which adds excessive tropical fruit; subtract 2 points if you add it all. (0.5l bottle, odd bins, Edinburgh.)

Hazy gold beer, good white head. Palate is light, fairly dry and fairly crisp. Light malts and a light floral vibe. Touch of candy sherbet citrus runs throughout. Light finish. Curious but drinkable.

Cask. Last Drop Inn, York. Clear, bright gold. Thick, dense, lasting, white head. Pilsener malts. Lemon hop. Get a nicely tangy, gooseberry note. Taste is crisp, and light dry. Minimal bitterness. Mouthfeel is a bit weighed down. Bottle or keg for me, with this, would be preferable. Finishes with the lemon hop, and some some soft, peppery spice.

Bottle shared at chriso’s winter tasting 8/12/2014. Yellow / straw coloured pour with a light haze a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is dirty pils grains / straw soft citrus lemon rind. Flavour is composed of sweet cereal grains, lemon rind, little resin. Hint of earthyness. Palate is medium full bodied with soft carbonation, bit sticky resin on the tongue. Lingering soft fruit citrus. Tasty beer.

Bottle shared at chriso’s in London. Pours clear, pale yellow with a fizzy white head. The nose has some pale grains, straw, a bit of lemon rind. Light sweet flavor with pale bread, hints of melon and citrus, light bitter hay. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish, somewhat drying, with more pale bread, citrusy hops, mild grains. Good stuff.
