Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2013, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Bushys Helmsman ].Clear medium orange color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, light hoppy, light toffee - butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, sharp, butter notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130815]

Draft at GBBF 2013, Day 3 - London. Pours clear gold with a light, cream head. The nose has butterscotch and doughy bread. Light sweet flavor with buttered bread and little else. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Sweet finish with faint bitter grains and further buttered bread. Not good.

Cask at GBBF ’13, 15/08/13. Very lightly hazed dark amber with a moderate off white covering. Noe is biscuit malt, caramel, fruits. Taste comprises bitter orange, caramel malt, biscuit, sugars.Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dy finish with a touch of bitterness. Solid enough drop - came across more an ESB than a bitter to me.

GBBF Day 3. Clear amber beer, no real head. Palate is low carbonation. Little orange hops, whisper of honey. Finshes smooth. Okay, if a bit thin and flat.

Cask at gbbf 2013. Cheers Colin. Bright orange colour with a slight haze. Reluctant head. Nose is veg broth. Light vinegar. Stale malt. Bit of a tipper.

From cask at Bon Accord. Pours cloudy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light fruity. Caramelish, sweet, light toasted and mild fruity. Light bitterness into the finish.

Cask at Rover’s Return, Douglas Hazy amber, creamy head. Nutty and fruity. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Some hazelnuts and caramel. Mid bitter finish.
