Straight from the can so no comments on the looks. Aroma of malts and faint hints of oranges. Taste of malts, oranges, wheat and grains. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Watery. I don’t really know what they were aiming for but it’s kind of alright I suppose.

So I was at the supermarket today, and figured I would pick up a few cheap ticks of new industrial releases. Yebisu Orange, eh? Hmmm. Rather faint nose. There is orange peel, some toasty amber malts, and some wheat. Not a bad idea, I would say, but the orange dominates. Would prefer more of that toasty amber malt. Color is orange-amber, reminding me of the name. Thick, low head. Flavor is sweet, fruity orange. A bit fake and candyish. I lose the nice toasty malt here. Very silky and soft, almost too much so. Very soft, light carbonation, and creamy wheat. Somewhat interesting, but really done so that no one will be offended by it, rather than so that it would shine. About what I expected.
