Bottle from Wine & Beer Direct, Halifax. It might have been more apt for Saltaire to have found a Cambridgeshire brewer to share this collaboration with given it was that historic county alongside Yorkshire that hosted the tour - Sussex got its go 20 years previous! However, as a beer this darker amber coloured ale with very little head is a crips and drinkable effort and its strength is not overbearing. It has a slightly gritty tropical fruit aroma and taste that’s understated.
