Cask-conditioned at the Beer Emporium, Bristol 3/9/2013. Golden with a slight white head. Cereal maltiness, with some citrus fruit and dryish finish. Ok.

Cask at Ealing beer festival 2013, London. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus, malty, slightly bitter. It’s OK.

A deep yellow beer. Promising astringent aroma. Taste is average: bitter hops and fruit predominate and lead to a bitter finish. Improves as palate goes on. Too lagery for a good ale, I much prefer Star by the same brewery.

Cask in the Goodmans Fields Spoons. Almost clear gold beer. Tidy white head. Smooth palate, very mild carbonation. Bit of a grainy start, bearable! All right orange citrus hops on the back end. Smooth finish. Drinkable. Would be good with less raw tasting malt at the start.

Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear, vibrant gold with a moderate, frothy white head. Dried pale malts in the nose, some straw and lemon rind. Light sweet flavor, some pleasant dried citrus notes, lemon and tangerine, some biscuity pale malts. Light in body with fine carbonation. Well conditioned. Clean, lightly bitter finish, further biscuity pale malts, dry lemon. A very pleasant, easy-drinking golden. Good work.
