0.50l bottle @ Osteria al Ponte in the company of David. Aroma of roasted malt, nuts and caramel. Pours ruby brown color with thick creamy tan-like head and nice lacing. Taste starts with medium sweet roasted malt and dried fruity, following is caramelly, bready and herbal, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Tasty lunch complemented by a tasty beer…

Bouteille: Deep ruby-amber coloured, mid-sized and quite firm off-white head; mild and quite dry toasty-caramelly nose with a slight mineralic-metallic tinge, molecular traces of nuts included; almost moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied; lingering and more bitter than sweet malty-caramelly finish, illusions of hops in the aftertaste.O.K. and a bit unusual…

(bottle) Clear, slightly reddish brown colour with a slightly beige medium-sized foamy head. Slightly nutty toast-malty aroma with notes of caramel and a touch of herbal and slightly grassy hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Moderately toasted malt character with nutty spots, caramel and a whiff of molasses; rounded bitter-sweet and mildly toasty malty finish with lighter but still present herbal hops. Balanced, not too sweet Dunkel. 22.VIII.14
