Cask at The Crown, Blackheath. It was an easy going cask pale ale. Somewhat on the caramel side of a pale ale. No discernable flavours coming out. Somewhat macro but cask enough. (27/9/24).

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Can looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Starts mild, malty, a bit washy. Sweetish fruity background. Some hints of apricot, some peaches. Finish well balanced. Not bad!

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Waitrose Canary Wharf. Pours clear honey-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of white bread, pasteurisation, straw, sponge cake, minimal bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet and bready pale malt finish, white sugar, more hay. Basic but drinkable.
