Throwback tourist IPA, citrus and berry notes on top of caramel and pine. Basic as basic can be.

Bottle - dark straw color, moderate lace - harkens back to the ipas of the early days of craft beer - somewhat malt forward and bready, but dries out through the middle and gets peppery and moderately bitter - finish is a little thin, but has a nice lingering dank hoppiness.

On tap at Man in the Moon. A bit hazy dark golden with a white head. Soft and easy to drink with citrus, hops, some caramel and light malt. The bitterness was on the light side.

[12oz bottle from Total Wines, Naples, FL.] A gushing pour leaving a half a hazy amber glass with a billowing white head; malty aroma with some citrus; similar taste. Light and inoffensive for an IPA.

Pretty good old school IPA. Semi-dry, with pine and citrus notes, a hint of caramel-bread malts. Balanced, light bitterness at finish. Copper color, decent head production, foamy. Typical early 2000s east coast type.

12 oz bottle at Alabama Jacks in Homestead, Florida. The pour is a slightly hazed golden copper with a smallish white head. The aroma is citrus and pine hop, along with some cereal grain. Both are fairly subdued. The taste is a blend of the muted citrus, pine and cereal grain. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft natural carbonation and a mild bitterness to the finish. Subdued IPA, though hit the spot after the drive.
