Not overly sweet, but also seems to lean more towards being a porter than a stout; not much roast, instead offering up a lot of milk chocolate, cola, lactose, and a touch of coffee acidity. (The java is really, really restrained, almost to the point of being a non-factor.) Drinkable, if overly tame.

Probably should be listed as stevens point two pitchers brewing bayou, just saying! Mine says it's a cold coffee added and a tad of chicory. Also, a touch of maple but with big letters on the label it says milk stout, so be it. Pours with a big and black, large and in charge, with a tan frothy head that fades very slowly of at all. Smell is on style friendly malt, no burnt olfactory attributes. Yes, there is some coffee flavors hiding in the background, and it seems to increase in the middle, but overall, it's a not-bad, on style stout. Not cloying but not overly coffee as well. No maple detected, again no sign of cloying. The alky feel on this seems to be about just right. The effect on the stomach seems to be that of famotidine, its smooth and easy. Yes, pretty mild for a coffee stout but we'll see tonight, won't we! LoL. Yea, not bad but, now towards the end I feel some of that burnt cold coffee ting coming thru. You know, like a working department coffee pot, that has been on the burner all morning. Overall, quite flat but there has been some noticeable carbonations.

Alright. Stout with a bit of spice. Got a kind of Christmas cinnamon feel. Not wild about it but it’s alright.

Almost the biggest waste of 900 yen I've spent. Tastes like a home-brewer's first attempt at stouting. Nothing comes together. Dreck.

Can from Beer Cats 2019 fukubukuro. Pours darker brown, some creamy and thin bubbles on the top, coming down quite soon after a few minutes. Nose has some cocoa powder, bit of toffee and overall tartness. Tastes tart, coffee juice, some cocoa powder. Creamy. Quite dry actually, light low medium bitterness leading to finish, some bitter and roasty linger there. Simple and a bit meh, still very much drinkable though.

Pour is more of a very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a slight coffee and molasses. Flavor is a hit of roast char malt and a way faint coffee. I love the chicory coffee you get a Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans. The cans you can get at the local grocery store never quite taste like the original. The same thing can be said for this beer.
