Sampled on draft this beer poured a yellow gold color with a large foamy white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweetish, tangy and a bit bready. The flavor was sweetish, tangy, grainy and bready. Medium length finish. Light to medium body. Meh.

Had a free bottle of this during the straub brewery tour. Clean and fresh lager looking thang. Good co2, has a decent, almost bright attitude. At first I was a little surprised on the amount of bitter personality, but then the impression gets a little more behaved. Finished quite hay like, the attribute of straub lager. Yes, at first I didn’t like this but thru the session it became more redefined and acceptable.
