Draught @ All In Beer Fest 2013. Pours very hazy yellow with a small frothy white head that quickly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing in the glass. Smell is herbal, fruity and tiny phenolic with crackers, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, lemony soap, white bread, orange zest, white pepper corns and subtle hints of butterscotch hard candy and starfruit. Taste is bitter, fruity and phenolic with crackers, freshly cut grass, bandaids, grapefruit juice, soap, winegums, lemongrass, pine needles, freshly cut grass, buttered white bread and hints of pepper corns. Mouthfeel is round, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, grapefruit juice, orange zest, grass, pine, bandaids, blackcurrant leaves and lemongrass. Pretty nice, the phenolic character almost makes it a lager saison.

Hazy golden beer with a nice white head. Fruity hop aroma, almost IPA-like, citrus, mango, floral, yeasty notes. Hoppy yeasty flavor, floral, hay, grass, some warming alcohol. Very hoppy for a lager.
