Oro Negro is a dynamic beer brimming with layers of complexity and character; our cherished Oil of Aphrodite infused with cacao nibs, vanilla beans, oak staves, habaneros, and cinnamon sticks. A staple at our bottle releases. This refined stout is filled with rich character and a touch of heat.

Pours viscously to huge dark cream to tan head over virtually black beer. Walnuts, chocolate-cinnamon cake with cherries, portwine, raisins, nuts and dates. Waffle syrup; fusels, but also rainwater. Fiery alcohol- and chiliblast upon sipping, leading to burning MF, feeling even more viscous than it looks. Sweet, enhanced by the alcohol(s). Dried fruit as plums, figs, dates, raisins; vanilla, fiery chili, cinnamon. Vanilla and cocos make the finish, with returning dark chocolate. Two things this is not: light and refreshing; the rest it is. A bit too heavy-handed on the habaneros. But it is a tempting, challenging beer. OTOH, one could call it a typical USA beer: more must be better.

Bottle. Pours a pitch black hue with a large beige head. A huge spicy nose, cinnamon, some toffee. Sweet, over the top spices, huge cinnamon, heat, vanilla. It works well, but it is a lot. Nice. Not loving the pepper, but it is light enough.
