Cask at the Dartmouth Arms, London on 1st August 2017. Clear coppery amber with loose off-white foam and lacing. Intense hop aroma with fine zest against a biscuit malt. A refreshing, yet solid blend of fruity hoppiness and nutty biscuit malt in-mouth. Rounded, sweet fruity finish with caramel malt. Very pleasant on the palate. Smooth mouthfeel and a medium body. A good pint. 7.4.7.4.16. ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————- Re-rating August 2023: Cask at the Cambridge Blue, Cambridge on 4th August 2023. Cask pint on 3rd Aug 2016: Penderels Oak, High Holborn. Golden pour, white crown. Nose was of light citrus and other tropical fruits as was the taste, bitter finish creeps up on you.

Cask at The Falcon (JDW), High Wycombe. Golden with a thin white head and a light sparkle. A little pine up front then lots of lemon and grapefruit. Plenty of hops but not overly bitter. The more I drank it the more I liked it. Really good golden- as you’d expect from this brewery.
