A rich amber colored IPA with a robust initial rye flavor. Spicy bitterness up front gives way to a smooth and dry malt finish. The Ryezome IPA is a perfect brew for the start of fall season. The name Ryezome is a play on the word Rhizome which is the root stalk that forms the hop plant.

Pours dark mahogany into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Pumpernickel aromas. Soft, thick with dark rye and caramel upfront turning to earthy pepper in the medium length finish.

Tap sample at the source. Deep amber in color small but long lasting off white head. Sweet bready caramel and hints of butterscotch against some spice and resinous hops. Pretty tasty IPA I took a crowler home.
