Our Bavarian Pale Ale is the combination of the recipe of an American style Pale Ale with a traditional Bavarian brewing process. A top-fermented ale yeast is responsible for fermentation. The Doldenzwerg has a pleasant bitterness and the Australian hop varieties Galaxy and the German hop Hüll Melon give the beer its typical fruity and floral character. The soft caramel malt notes underline the slightly sweet body.

33cl bottle from REWE Steidel - Nittendorf. Head is big, white, good retention. Colour is deep gold, hazy. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, floral, nice hoppy. Taste is medium malty base, grapefruit, orange, tropical fruits, bit pine, nice balanced bitterness, medium carbonation, good one, enjoyed.

Bottle. Amber brown. Malt and apple. Taste is also malt and apple. Decent. But it got an oily sticky aftertaste.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a creamy, off-white head. Nose has citrus and some caramel. Medium body, rich caramelly malts and a slight bitterness. Clean and well made, but more of an Amber Ale. 310322

Amber with a frothy white head that lingers. Aroma of peaches, straw, caramel. Bittersweet with a grainy bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Pleasant.

Tap @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto. Poured golden in color, thin white head. Aroma has ripe fruits, hops, malts, hops. Good drinkability, light bitterness.

Tap. Clear deep amber color with white head. Aroma is piney, red grapes, caramel. Taste is the same, quite a bitter finish. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Quite nice!

Unpraktische 0,33 l Flasche, 14,6 % Stammwürze und heftige 6,3 % Alk. Geschmack frisch und fruchtig (Grapefruit und Melone). Nicht zu bitter. Gehaltvoll und trotzdem sehr süffig. Gut.

Bottle from Metro. Amber, light haze, good head. Citrus piney aroma with honey caramel notes. Great hint of sweetness behind a well rounded start to finish hop flavor that doesn't close too bitter - rather just right for a non India pale. Just a bit milder than similar offerings.
