330 ml bottle. Clear dark amber body with a medium sized, dense tan head. Good looking. Strong aroma of mainly coffee, but really good coffee. The flavor is strong but very smooth with dark malt, lots of coffee and nicely balanced bitterness. Medium body and coffee aftertaste. OK, there’s a lot of coffee infused stouts out there that’s far more complex, this is rather one dimensional coffee – or actually two dimensional, the bitterness works great here. I like good coffee and I like the way the coffee tasted in this beer. Well made!

Fonefan 251014. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavour is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, caramel, grain, cocoa. Medium body. OK beer.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Austmann Austmann & Svart ].Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, strong coffee, cold coffee, coffee vegetables. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, coffee - malt bitter, cold coffee, roasted bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20141025]

Small bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is dry roasted, (too much) burnt espresso, ashtray, burnt caramel, burnt toast, dark malts, roasted grain, dark malts. Taste is slightly dry and burnt, espresso, burnt grain, burnt caramel, minerals, grass, hay, ashtray, burnt caramel. Medium bitterness, burnt and watery mouthfeel. Fair enough, just too burnt...

Appearance: Black, very little head.
Aroma: Coffee, roasted, very dark malt.
Taste: Coffee, toasted, malt in there. A tad flat. Nice.

Black with a brown head that dissapears olmost right away - Roasted coffee aroma with dome malts as well - Roasted malt and coffee flavours - Coffee and malts goes into the finish - Quite nice, but a little bit flat

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, heavy coffee and vegetables. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 251014

0.33l bottle from #159. As good as black in the glass this one, I'm at least struggling to see through it even when holding it against the light. A big and lasting dark brown head safely placed on the top that's lacing nicely down the glass. Quite a nice nose. Lots of coffee that's been dark roasted. Some bitter chocolate also detected here and it has a good amount of cardboard as well. Not the wet type, but the more inviting kind. Nice. It's definitely flavorful! There's chocolate espresso, more dark cardboard, a nice earthy nuttyness and dark bitter chocolate. Elegant, and straightforward. A relay nice one this! 20.09.2017

Dyp kraftig duft av kaffe. Nesten ikke skum, liten ring langs kant. Dyp sort farge. Kraftig smak av kaffe og noe frukter med en anelse vanilje.
