330ml panda from LCB. Black pour with brief beige head. Aroma of coffee, vanilla, light roast and chocolate - rounded and inviting. Taste as expected - creamy with very nice balance; a hint of blackberry fruitiness to give it an extra edge. Sweet but not sickly or overly rich. Medium bodied, average carbonation which could be a bit finer. A smooth creamy mouthfeel would have worked better here. Still its a very tasty porter.

330ml can. Pours an opaque black with a small, foamy, short lived, brown head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, earth and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, vanilla, dark chocolate, ash and earth in a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a sticky, oily texture and soft carbonation. Delicious and easy to drink.

On tap at Fierce Beer - Edinburgh, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out dry cocoa, a touch of coffee, and toasted malt. Flavour is earthy and dry, with dry coffee, medium roast, and dry cocoa. Thin and lacking depth or balance dealt. It's okay but not the best porter.

On tap. Pours a very dark brown with short tan head. Aromas of creamy chocolate, nuts and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional rich fruity coffee. Creamy. Very good

330 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Black colour, large tan head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Soft mouthfeel. Smooth flavour with the same elements as the aroma, some sweetness but not too much. Moderate bittering hops in the finish. Very enjoyable.
