Tap. 8 months in the keg. Black, with a lacy white head. Nose is chocolate, coconut, cherry, coffee notes. Sweet, nutty, roasty, coconut, cherries. Rich, smooth, delicious. Dangerously drinkable.

Inspired by an Aussie sweet, I saved the biggest for last. Two Rabbits Cherry Coconut Imperial Stout 10% Deep mahogany black with a wispy tan head and cherry chocolate aroma. Full bodied with boozy heat and hits of dark cacao, coconut sweetness and cherry. I think the cherry could’ve been ratcheted up a knotch and at a 10% you feel as warmth in the pit of your stomach this enters winter warmer territory. Really good but boozy and as the only one of the three without lactose it’s definitely not cloyingly sweet at any time. If you like big stouts, this ones for you. I couldn’t find anything with cherries in it (out of season) so I am having it with a raspberry Kit Kat as well as some chocolate covered cranberries. The cranberries surprisingly accentuated the chocolate and brought out coffee notes. The raspberry Kit Kat became candyish and brought out sugared cherry notes.
