Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, deep amber with a small, beige head. Nose is nutty and caramellish with a hint of greasy hops - British? Rich, malty body, again plenty of crystal malt adding that delicious caramel touch, syrupy biscuits and nuts. But enough hops to avoid this cloying up. A delicious beer for malt lovers like myself. 290519

Hazy dark amber color with small head. Caramel and hops aroma, sweet promise and some hop fruitiness, mellow. Good body strength; caramel flavor, light residual sweetness, with a lot of umami and rancid Spanish ham; correct bitterness.
Flawed, although not too disgusting.

Sample from the brewery tour. Amber beer, medium head. Aroma is hops, citrus, malt, caramel. Taste is the same and bittersweet. Nice one

Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dried fruit, light roasted - chocolate, moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, caramelized malt - sugar, caramel, yeasty, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle @ Assentoft tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, fruits, malt and has a warming sweet finish.
