Série Signature. This Franconian-style Kellerbier, "cellar beer", is an unfiltered Pilsner marrying the richness of Quebec barley to the smoothness of German hops. It is the ideal aperitif.

Editor’s note:
This Kellerbier is a slight reformulation of their 2008 Oktoberfest Blonde.

On tap at Le Saint Bock.
Some nice grains, and clean pils hops in the aroma. A nice clean crisp mouthfeel, some good maltiness, and a good balance between the hops, but there is an odd sweet, VERY sweet aftertaste....what is that about?

Fieldlab Straten. De anaalswab overleefd. Ruikt een beetje naar boter. Dit bier, niet de anaalswab. Smaakt zoet en gistig. Wel een leuke binnenkomer. Het bier.

Bottle shared at pre-Kingsday tasting. Clear golden color, virtually no head. Aroma has a weird kind of yeasty sweetness. Flavor is malts, a bit dusty, a slight malty bitterness, sweetish notes in between but also a hint of green plants. Meh.

Thanks Šnjavi! Bottle at Svijet Piva. Misty golden, white head. Flowery, polleny light aroma, malty. Nice flowery soft malty taste. Clean taste, balanced, quite lovely, if a bit watery and not worth 40KN. Still, credit where credit's due, fantastic kellerbier.

Bottled (backlog). Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, earth, some bready malts as well as some slight herbal notes. Flavour is very similar, with a nice floral and sweet malty touch to it.

Shared bottle. Cloudy orange, off-white how. Strong caramel flower aroma, a touch of clovy/gluey spice. Dry spicy, light caramel malts behind. Enough grassy bitterness with a touch of lagerish harshness. Very smooth mouthfeel. Very good.

Dorada turbia de abundante espuma cremosa y aroma malteado con notas de pino. Continua en boca, bebible y agradable, para acabar en un final seco. Buena.
