Série Signature. This Franconian-style Kellerbier, "cellar beer", is an unfiltered Pilsner marrying the richness of Quebec barley to the smoothness of German hops. It is the ideal aperitif.
Editor’s note:
This Kellerbier is a slight reformulation of their 2008 Oktoberfest Blonde.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a large loose white head that collapses. High bead. Smells earthy and mildly spicy with a little bread. Taste has some pear and apple sweetness along with pils malt breadiness and sour undertone. Good fruit and peppery/ herbal bitterness. Rustic and fun.

hazy golden color, very earthy nose full of continental hops and malts. Mouth starts malty, with notes of hay, straw, grass and earth. Then the hops jump in with a long lingering bitter finish. Very authentic. True to style. Wish more breweries in N America could produce something so authentic. Superb.

750 from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Pours hazy orange gold with a foamy/fluffy 4 finger white head. Aromas of pale malt, yeast and grass/citrus. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Really nice feel. Flavor is really noble - not just grass either. A tad yeasty. Pretty bitter in the finish. Not IPA, but bitter. Really hits the membranes. This is a very tasty beer.

Pours deep gold into a stein. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet cookie aromas. Sweet malts upfront turning to bitter hops in the dry, lasting finish.

Bouteille 750ml.

Bottle: Poured a hazy light amber lager with a large foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt is totally dominating with no discernable hops. Taste is also a malt bomb with loads of malt that is easily quaffable and with some light horse grain notes also discernable. Full body with great carbonation and no noticeable alcohol. Good stuff!

A lightly hazy blonde with a thick off white head. A really nice herbaceous hops and biscuitty malt. In mouth, loads of malt with a good amount of german hopping, clean and crisp, some resinous notes, an intense pils, in the same vain as Czerna Hora. Bought at Jovi, 4.99$ for 750 mL.
