Bottle bought through Systembolaget. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny sour, slightly phenolic and tiny fruity with crackers, lemon juice, pineapple juice, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, gooseberries, passion fruit, lemon zest and pear skins. Taste is slightly sour, tiny bitter, tiny phenolic and slightly fruity with crackers, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, passion fruit, pineapple juice, cilantro, lemon grass, white pepper corns, star fruit, lemon zest and hints of honeydew melon and unflavoured yoghurt. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, slightly tart and light bodied. Finish is sour, slightly bitter, tiny phenolic and fruity with crackers, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, white and black pepper corns, pear skins, grape skins, passion fruit, unripe pineapple, lemon zest and orange zest. Pleasant refreshing saison with enough complexity from the hops to make it interesting.
