Cask at the crosse keys jdw. Straw coloured with a scummy film of head. Aroma is lager yeast with some floral notes and lemon. Flavour is earthy straw, citrus lemon edge and solid earthy bitterness. Slightly rough round the edges. Decent enough cask lager. The palate I’d a touch flabby. Not quite enough crispness.

Cask @ White Hart, Todmorden. Clear mid-yellow with a small head. Has a malty lager character in a fairly smooth textured ale.

Cask handpull at Willow Walk Spoons Victoria. Clear pale gold lasting white head. It’s ok actually. Actually tastes a bit like a lager. Decent lemon flavour. Some light hop throughout. I thought ok.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and semi dry. Fine carbonation. Light pale malt, little sweet. Hops are floral with mellow lemon and grapfruit. Finishes light with a touch of pineapple. Unfortunately it is a little insipid. A bit more boldness and this would have been very good.

Cask at the Victoria Station JDW - London. Pours clear yellow with a frothy, pure white head. The nose holds light crispy biscuits and lemon citrus. Light-medium sweet flavor with balanced pale bread sweetness, subtle lemon rind and straw bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Pretty well balanced to finish with slight lemony tang, mild oily hops, straw, biscuits. Tasty enough. Very drinkable.
