Where: The Bottle Shop, Bermondsey.
Appearance: Brown colour with a beige head.
Aroma: Malt, some chocolate, citrus.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Roasted malt, chocolate, some spices, hops.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Quantum Black IPA ].Clear dark dark red brown color, speaking, with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, orange - citrus, funky, leather, dry grass. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, funky, dry, brett, roasted, fruity, dark malt, sharp, light licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear, dark red. Bubbly, thin, sticky, tan head. Dark chocolate. Some liquorice. Some aniseed. Taste is ashy dry, with some sweetness, turning fairly bitter. Tart, sharp palate. Finish is bitter and tart. It’s better than the Interocitor from this brewer, that just went down the sink, but not by much...

Very dark brown beer, but clear, good pale tan head. Palate is lightly crisp and semi dry. Nice dark malts, a little tang but also light roast and dark chocolate. The dominant hops are pine, mildly spicy with a mellow undertone of marmalade. Whisper of red berry fruits. Light dry crisp finish. Spicy pine and roast malt linger. Really like the way this CDA hangs together. Very very drinkable.

Bottle shared during the satellite Travlr 10K tasting at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Big thanks to Mr. CDA, Jr. Pours clear brown with a frothy beige head. The nose has burnt toast, char, earth and hard cocoa. Light-medium sweet flavor with gritty roasted malts, hard water, torched wood and baking cocoa. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Bitter charred malt finish with some harsh charcoal, dry cocoa, earth, minerals and burnt pine. OK. A bit rough.

Bottle, acquired from the Bottle Shop Bermondsey, shared at the satellite 10K tasting CBC Clerko, 19/08/14. Light black meets extremely dark mahogany brown with a well appointed light tan covering that dissipates then retains. Nose is earthy roast, light cocoa, tropical fruit tones, light spice, grapefruit. Taste comprises light soap, Beenny berries, roasted notes, cocoa rub. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with light earthy hop bitterness. Ok CDA, let down a little by a touch of soapyness.

Bottle share at the satellite 10k tasting at the craft clerko. Aroma is big and dirty, petroleum, hint of choc and berry hop. Dark caramel coloured pour with a halo of cream head. Flavour is soft dirty roast, berry, rubber, grassy hop. Palate is medium light with chalky carbonation. Lingering roast.
