Bottled. Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild dried dark fruits, some coffee, roasted and chocolaty notes as well. Flavour is rather roasted and chocolaty with some coffee, vanilla, mild alcohol as well as some toffee and mild spicy (yeasty?) notes.

Rating of my cellared bottle. From SB. Pitch black, viscous, with a very brief brown head. Thick velvety chocolate, leather, some dark fruit, roast and coffee. Full bodied. Great sipper.

Bottle. Pours opaque black, no head, no lacing. Aroma is heavy molasses, cocoa, hints of anise, more molasses. Flavor is pretty sweet, vanilla and molasses dominate. Coffee? Not really. Light bitter. Full body, creamy, low carbonation. Good.

At at tasting, many thanks, no head, opaque black color, mellow vanila aroma with toasted dark bread and some chocolate snd domething roasty in the back, dominant flavor of dark chocolate with vanila, some cocoa and just a nutty hint, quite sweet but mellow sweetness. Very good and really enjoyable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Black with a tan head. Big aroma of lots of dark chocolate, some coffee, vanilla. Sweet flavor with lots of dark chocolate, some vanilla, some coffee, wood, vanilla, a bit of molasses. Full-bodied, rounded. Great stuff.

Black colour, no real head. Aroma of coffee, caramel and cacao. Sweet flavour, malts, caramel, brown sugar. Finish coffee, malts, roasted malts.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Nose is heavy, with notes of cocoa, roasted malt, caramel and fudge. Flavour is big n bold, with loads of fudge, cocoa, a little roast and some vanilla. Thick and silky, with low carbonation, making this very easy drinking for such a monstrous beer. Excellent slow sipper.

Whats Brewing 2014. Aroma is chocolate, cocoa, licorice, sugar, roasted malt, molasse. Flavour is chocolate, cocoa, licorice, sugar, roasted malt, molasse, vineous, alcohol, caramel. Full body. Very nice beer.
