Optisch zeigt sich ein schönes leichtes Goldgelb. Die zarte Trübung bringt das Glas zum glänzen. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone ist flaumig stabil und hält sich fabelhaft! Sehr duftig, fruchtig und kräuterartig in der Nase. Erinnert mit seiner Süße und Kräuterwürze an Almdudler bzw. an eine Kräuterlimo mit einem Hauch von Steinobst. Der Antrunk kommt ganz angenehm, weich rezent und leicht kräuterartig. Am Gaumen dominiert ein relativ voluminöses und interessantes Spiel aus Süße und Herbe. Man meint eine Kräuterlimo a la Almdudler zu trinken. Das schmeichelt dem Mundgefühl und der Süffigkeit durchaus, aber es fehlt dann doch an Tiefe und Vielschichtigkeit. Den Focus auf den Simcoe zu legen, ist absolut kein Fehler, aber bei einem Alkoholgehalt von 7,2% sollte auch vom Malz mehr da sein. Im Abgang kommt die süßliche Kräuteraromatik nochmal schön auf. Nach mehreren Sekunden wandelt sich das aber in eine schöne fruchtig-kräuterartige Herbe. Es fällt wirklich schwer, dieses Bier fair zu beurteilen, da es einerseits wirklich gut ist, aber man vielleicht doch etwas mehr erwartet... naja... ein Trump... ein Dickkopf eben. Aber... definitiv besser als Trump!!

03.05.2019 -- 0.33l bottle from silpo in kiev, 14.11.2018--14.08.2019. pours a cloudy golden with a steady dense head. aroma of lime cake, camphor, elderflowers. flavour of lime cake, elderflowers, biscuit, perfume. alcohol is well hidden. interesting.

0,33 flaske delt med Per og Petro en særdeles hyggelig kveld hos Petro. 5 øl fra Pravda Beer Theatre sto på programmet, og denne var den nest siste i rekken: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. En smaksrik lager med mild bitterhet uten at den blir søt. Alle var fornøyde, og vi kjente ikke det minste spor etter Simcoe-katten. Endlessly more charming and honest than Trump himself (which admittedly doesn't take much).

Unclear, orange-golden colored, medium white frothy head, nice lasting. Aroma is of some corn, malt, bit caramel, moderate fruity hops and lime, bit spicy belgian like yeast. Taste is medium sweet malt, some corn, caramel, medium fruity and floral hops, medium bitterness, some spicy belgian yeasty notes, light lime, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation, oily.

Bottle 330ml. shared @ queue for 10th. BBF 2018 [ 10th Borefts Beer Festival 2018 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Pravda Trump ].Unclear - hazy matt medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, wheat, moderate yeasty, belgium yeast, phenol, alcohol, light zesty - lime. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, belgium yeast, phenol, yeast, bread, cereal, light lime - zesty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 2017 - cheers all! Pours unclear gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds zesty lime, dry pale bread. Light sweet flavour, more zesty lime character, citrus peel, white bread. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Oily lime peel finish. Alright. Kind of fun.

Borefts queue rate. Thanks to whomever brought this. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, sweetish, not lagerish. Decent hops. Little tropical and slightly spicy. Orange and mango. Trace of lemon. Unexpectedly good. Like the man himself! Rassssssp!

At a tasting, thanks, small stable bubbly head, hazy darkish orange color, fruity, citrusy, woody aroma, fruity lemony flavor with some herbs and a bit of alcohol, light sweetness. Interesting.

50cl pours a clear gold with some creamy, white head. Nose has corn, elderflower, woman's deodorant. Flavor is OK, corn and biscuit, lavender, perfume. Finishes oily. Weird.
