Bottle, 5.5%. Roasted and salty aroma with a hint of smoke. Black colour. Small frothy light brown head. The flavour is quite sour, very acidic. Does not taste like a standard infection, more like a very clean lacto infection. Underneath the acid it seems to have a mildly roasted malt base with a mild vanilla and coffee note.

Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with small, bubbly tan head. Clear aroma of roasted malt, with notes of coffee and touches of smoke. Sour flavour (off? not past the BBD) with notes of roast. Sour aftertaste. Infected? Something must have gone terribly wrong. I am looking forward to the next batch, possibly a better one.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, beige head. Lovely roasty aroma, chocolate and a whiff of roast. A slightly tart note as well? Medium body, same good, roasty notes bordering being burned. A little tobacco and tar. Subdued bitterness, mostly from the ashy malts. Solidly crafted. 130914
