Big offwhite slightly coarse head shrinks with a crackling sound. Clear yellow body with carbonation. Mealy toffee aroma with buttery notes. Dry-sweet winter apples and toffee taste with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish strawy apple aftertaste with spicy buttery notes. Nice, clean, drinkable, but not that special. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly Oslo City.)

Medium offwhite head over clear deep yellow body. Sweet malty aroma with notes of bread and alcohol and a touch of noble hops. Sweet marzipan taste with notes of grassy hops and grain. Some alcohol heat. Some butter. Decent, but nothing special. (0.33l bottle.)

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Sentrum Tromsø. Airy white head that stayed well over a clear yellow-gold coloured body. Fair lacing. Pale malty aroma with grassy hops. Taste of oily hops, grass and pale malts. Weak fruity hints to the ending. A little mealy on the palate. Soft and refreshing when chilled down a bit. Leaves behind a bland impression after a while in the glass (at home, 10.08.2014).

330ml bottle. Clear golden with a rocky, quickly diminishing foam. A beverage rich in alcohol, medium in palate, but poor in aroma and flavour. Just barely some weak notes of malt and hops.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Ålesund, bought in September 2012. Clear golden with a large white head. Sweet aroma and taste of malt, honey and some light notes of citrus. Also notes of metal. Drinkable but boring. I think that I had drunk a beer like this before.

Bottle in our quirky Oslo hotel. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Sweet marmalade - dried fruits but dominated by pale malt. Carbonated sting in the finish but too much pale malt. Meh!
