Brewed with our friends at Goldfinger Brewing Company, this traditional ale was brewed with finest Bavarian malts and Goldfinger's hand selected German Tettnanger hops. The crispness and quaffability are a result of fermenting this ale at colder temperatures more traditional for a lager.

.3 litre mug at Goldfinger. The mug shows a golden beet color. A lot of lace at the sides as the foam sinks away. Clean, slightly grainy beer smell. The taste is nice, as a clean German beer. Ale yeast gives it just a bit of fruit, right the edge of my perception. Then there's a nice note of Noble hops, giving some peppery sharpness. But toasty malts stay in the forefront. I think I can finally distinguish this kölsch from a standard German lager.
