Bottle. It pours an unclear golden orange body and a big dense white head. The aroma is lightly yeasty, with tropical fruits and some pale malts. Pine cones too. It’s quite heavily carbonated, medium to full bodied and semi-dry. Tropical fruits and some pale malts in the mouth, a soft bitterness kicking in towards the end. Well, I like the tropical fruits in this one, but it’s pretty boring and a tad too yeasty. 140725

Søtlig duft av hvete med en anelse sitron. Tykt hvitt kremet skum. Dunkel lys gulbrun farge. Frisk og god på smak med en liten syrlig ettersmak.

Flaske fra Matkroken Stokka, Stavanger,: flott skum i mitt Duvel-glass! Selv gjennom en pollen-nese kjenner jeg den friske aromaen av mango og belgisk gjær (krydder og banan). Rett fra kjøleskapet etter sykkeltur hjem en mild aprilaften var dette syrligfriske og slanke ølet midt i blinken. Mye smak for bare 4,7%, men det er for dyrt til å bli fast inventar i kjelleren.

Appearance: Hazy golden color with a fine white head that leaves a nice lacing.
Aroma: Wheat, mild hoppy and fruity.
Palate: Medium + body. Tad sweet and a rich bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Smooth balanced wheat, fruity, yeast and mild acidic.
Overall impression: Tasty, fresh and easy drinkable.

On tap at Håndverkerstuene (ABV. 4.5%). Hazy orange with a white head. Fruity, yeasty and wheaty aroma with notes of fruits, hops and tutti-frutti. Medium sweet with a light acidity and bitterness. Medium(+) body with a slightly soft carbonation. Wheaty, nice and refreshing. Nice one.
