Tap at the bluejacket Brewpub. An opaque black brown coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is sour roast, tangy, soy sauce, apple treacle. Flavour is composed of, semi sweet, tangy, moderate carbonation, soy, tangy earthy roast. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, mellow cask condition. Bit fucked.

Cask at the Brick Store Pub. Pours black, with a nice, foamy, tan head. The nose is coffee, earth, chalk, and cocoa. Sweet and malty. Quality and fun cask pour.

Nonic cask at The Arsenal at Bluejacket in Washington DC. The pour is black brown with a well formed and lasting tan head. The aroma is coffee roast, caramel and dark chocolate cocoa. The taste is alive with the flavors of the nose, particularly the coffee roast and bitter dark cocoa. As it warms, the flavors become even more complex. The palate is medium bodied with soft cask natural carbonation and the dry roast finish. Super well executed and tasty, loved this.

Cask at Bluejacket. Poured a kind of murky dark brown color, with a medium sized, quickly dissipating head. Aroma was creamy chocolate, light semi-sweet chocolate roast. Cocoa. Caramel with a touch of toffee. Light toasted finish.

Cask at Bluejacket, pours a translucent dark brown with a ring of beige head. Nose has soggy bread, some light coffee, caramel, toffee, earthy notes. Flavor is just a bread bomb, bread crust, soggy crackers, chewy toffee pulls. Finishes off dry.
